Nicole and Kristian

Kristian and I got married at the Webb Barn in Wethersfield, CT. The theme of our wedding was "rustic elegance." Since we were getting married in November, I knew I wanted a long sleeve dress, but I didn't want it to necessarily look like my "grandmother's dress." I wanted something sexy, but also conservative all at once. I also was not too keen on the idea of having a stark white dress. I was considering cream until I happened on the Hayley dress at my Kleinfeld appointment. The color of the dress changes! It appears blush, but then is a beautiful ivory, and then suddenly has hints of purple. I had the honor of meeting Hayley Paige herself at my appointment and she explained to me that her inspiration for the dress was at the end of the Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty" when the good fairy paints her dress with all different colors. I loved the intricate appliques and beading that made the dress sparkle without being too glitzy and I LOVED the train. The train is a complete statement and made all of my wedding photos absolutely dreamy.

My bridesmaid dresses were a deep wine color which I thought paired perfectly with the softness of my dress. We went with blush, wine and green tones to create a deep pop of color against the neutral tones.
